Run 4 HOPE fundraiser & Stallion Auction
Run 4 HOPE is an event where horse lovers can support a great cause. The event includes a barrel race at the Jackson County Expo in the Isola Barn. We have competitors attend from all over Oregon, California and Washington competing for cash awards and prizes. There is also a silent auction and tack swap for spectators and contestants. No fee for spectators. Don't forget the bikini barrel race! Yes girls, and guys racing in bikinis for a large cash prize!
All proceeds go to HOPE Equestrian Center.
Saddles saddles saddles!!
This year we will be giving away saddles to the D winners. $1000 added, maybe more. August 27th, race start time is 11:00 am. Time onlys from 9-10:20 am. Peewees will run at 10:20. Custom awards to fifth in each division. 4d option 1 race. Entry fee is $65, $10 office fee, $5 awards fee. Entries close at 10:00, can enter until 11:00 with a $10 late fee and be put in a late draw. Sanctioned Run2Win prime, co sanctioned brn4d and nsbra. (You will pay point fees for your association if you want points). Bikini Race will be limited to first 30 entered. $100 donation required to run, no fee on top of that. Straight pay out of $1000 plus award to first, $300 to second, $200 to third, $150 to 2d winner. There will be youth, senior and novice classes with awards to first in each D. Order will be peewee (limited to 20, $10 fee), runnint at 10:20 followed by rake and open at 11:00, bikini race, youth, senior, novice. $25 fee for youth, senior novice and can carry from the open. Please join us for the fun!!!
Auction will close August 27th. Time is to be announced. This auction will be closed at a silent auction at Run 4 HOPE, but we will update the auction online throughout the day. All proceeds from this auction go to HOPE Equestrian Center for Therapeutic Riding. A non-profit in Medford, Oregon which offers the therapeutic benefit of horseback riding to kids and adults with special needs, at risk youth and wounded veterans.
